For most of the contests in Oslo Bergen Trail a medical certificate is required to participate.
The certificate must be dated in the period 15 January - 15 June 2027.
The deadline for handing in the certificate is 15 June 2027. Send to info@oslobergentrail.com.
A template for the certificate can be downloaded here (available from 1 January 2027).
A group of researchers from the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences (NIH), the Oslo University Hospital (OUS) and the Norwegian Armed Forces (Forsvaret) will collect physiological data from runners volunteering to take part. The purpose is to identify factors of importance to performance - in a demanding race going on continuously for multiple days in various terrains and weather conditions. By participating, you will get the opportunity to contribute to increased knowledge about how ultra running affects the body....
